Background and Expertise
After working in the private medical insurance industry for a number of years learning about managing and leading teams, Kirsten moved into marketing whilst living overseas in New Zealand.
While abroad Kirsten worked for a leading luxury travel company and day spa, helping to push their brands forward in a very competitive market, before returning to the UK and moving to the Southwest.
Since returning to the UK, Kirsten has headed up marketing teams for a variety of companies, working in the renewable energy sector, the family law industry and working with various businesses across several industries as a freelance marketer.
Kirsten joined Walker Family Law in September 2021 and works across the teams to help promote the business and establish new ways for the company to reach clients and ensure they know about the services we offer.
“As a marketer, family law is a very interesting service to market because it is a distress purchase. People experience some of the most stressful times of their lives when they are using our services so to promote what we do to potential clients can be challenging. My job is to think outside of the box and create new campaigns that will help potential clients understand why they should use our firm. The family law industry has only fairly recently started to understand how important marketing and brand awareness is and it is an exciting time to be involved”.
Spare Time
Outside of work, Kirsten is kept busy by two energetic children, a dog who always needs another walk, and a calendar that seems permanently full. Most weekends are spent supporting her children from the side lines, whatever the weather, and filling any gaps with coastal walks, Pilates and time with friends and family.
