Isabelle Stevens Solicitor isabellestevens@walkerfamilylaw.co.uk Background Isabelle qualified in 2023 and she specialises in care cases and family law act cases. Isabelle graduated in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, with a First from Plymouth University. Whilst completing her degree, she assisted in the Family Law pro bono clinic offering support and guidance to those who found themselves in traumatic situations. She joined Walker Family Law shortly afterwards, originally starting in the Client Service’s team. Isabelle studied the LPC alongside working and completed her studies in June 2022. “I chose a career in law because I wanted to help people who may feel overwhelmed or intimidated by the situations they find themselves in and I want legal advice to feel accessible for all people. The amazing people who work at Ian Walker’s make the company a joy to work for. Everybody is incredibly friendly and always there if you need a helping hand.” Isabelle volunteers with Safer Spaces, a charity that provides an essential safeguarding service at festivals and large events. They aim to make these spaces safe for all women and girls; creating a fun and inclusive environment, free from sexual violence and harassment. Spare Time In her spare time Isabelle is a theatre and movie buff and used to be a member of Exmouth’s Centre Stage theatre group. She has a cockapoo called Roo and, living by the beach, loves walking her in some of the beautiful Devon scenery.
