Emma Wildblood

Background

Emma Wildblood is an experienced family solicitor. She has been qualified for almost 30 years, the vast majority of this time specialising in children matters, particularly public law (Care Proceedings and PLO/ Pre Proceedings) .

Having worked with all parties in such cases, including the  Local Authority, children and parents, she brings a particular experience and insight to the work as she is able to advise parents and children how a Local Authority approaches cases and the best way to deal with them.

Her experience in these matters not only involves representing parents, children and other family members in care proceedings, she is sometimes instructed by the Official Solicitor when acting for parents with disabilities. Emma has a particular interest in representing clients with disabilities. 

Emma is a member of the Law Society Children Panel and The Association of Lawyers for Children. 

Spare time

When Emma is not working, she keeps herself busy by chasing around after 4 children, three dogs and four cats!
