Stephanie McAulay

Solicitor

Background

Stephanie is a solicitor in our care team. She has a Degree in Law from the University of Liverpool. Stephanie was an aspiring barrister and completed the first part of the mandatory vocational training in 2015 at BPP Leeds, receiving the Mary MacMurray Scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn. Stephanie entered the legal arena as a family paralegal on the Northern Circuit in 2016.

From 2019, Stephanie’s aspirations adapted and therefore she completed qualifying employment and a work-based learning portfolio with CILEx to become a Chartered Legal Executive. At the same time, she returned to BPP Leeds to obtain the relevant postgraduate qualifications to dual qualify as a solicitor in 2022. As a result, Stephanie has experience in both public and private family law and enjoys conducting her own advocacy in her cases to ensure clients have continuity of representation wherever possible.

Interesting fact: After graduation, she spent 3 months in Ghana with a host family on a Law and Human Rights Internship.

Spare time

In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys hiking, traveling and exploring. She dances salsa, bachata, Kizomba etc. and has a pet pug called Otis.
