Uncategorized Changes for Ian Walker Family Law and Mediation Solicitors Posted by Ian Walker August 2, 2015 Read more Changes for Ian Walker Family Law and Mediation Solicitors Updating the website 2015 has been a busy year for Ian Walker Family Law and Mediation Solicitors. There have been a few changes and there are a few more to come. Unfortunately, I have not been as quick in updating the website as I would like to have been. I have just returned from a family holiday to the New Forest with my wife and children. We have recharged our batteries and in the next few weeks I will be updating the website. A highlight was getting to watch Southampton FC versus Vitesse Arnhem at the St Marys stadium – an uninspiring 3-0 win; together with cycling walking and running through the forest and a visit to Winchester. There are a few pages which need completing and a few more to add. I will also be posting some blogs which I hope will also be interesting and helpful. Ian Walker Family Law and Mediation is now 2 1/2 years old In the spring I took the decision that we needed to expand in order to best meet the needs of our clients. We have taken an additional room at the East Devon Business Centre in Honiton. More changes in where we do business from are likely to follow. It is very exciting – watch this space for more details. I also have extra help in the form of Karen Elliott – who is a Chartered Legal Executive and Julie Stephens who is a paralegal. There are more changes to come as well. Experienced Solicitor needed I am still open to recruiting an experienced Solicitor. Particularly if they have a following of clients. I have already started to think about the renewal of Legal Aid contract in the next year or so and how to maintain/achieve a sustainable model of legal aid practice. Alternatively I will also consider CV’s of Solicitors specialising in finance work. CVs will be received in confidence. Meeting the needs of our clients We have achieved some very good outcomes for clients in the last 30 months and change and further changes will help us to continue to do this. We aim to be the first choice of clients needing family law advice or mediation in East Devon and also to be a good choice for family clients in Taunton and Exeter.
