Honiton Carnival 2013

This years Honiton Carnival is taking place tonight, namely  Saturday ( 26th October 2013 )

The procession starts at 7:30pm.

The East Devon Carnivals are great fun. My children have always enjoyed them and occasionally taken part. This year we have already been to the Carnival in Sidmouth. Unfortunately we missed Seaton, Axminster and Colyton.

We are looking forward to Honiton tonight.

What have noticed is that there are less and less big floats each year. This is a real shame as they are a highlight of each carnival. They are a lot of hard work for those carnival clubs who put them on. When money is tight, its inevitable that people have other priorities.
